Fellowship in Pediatric Radiology

The Pediatric Radiology Fellowship at UCSF School of Medicine, San Francisco is a one-year advanced clinical training program focused on comprehensive pediatric imaging. Fellows receive hands-on experience in pediatric ultrasound, MRI, CT, radiography, fluoroscopy, musculoskeletal imaging, neuroradiology, nuclear medicine, and interventional procedures. Training includes multidisciplinary conferences, pediatric imaging lectures, journal clubs, teaching activities, research opportunities, and dedicated ultrasound and procedure training, preparing fellows for independent practice in pediatric radiology.

1. Complete the UCSF online fellowship application.
2. Submit a current CV.
3. Submit a personal statement describing career goals and plans.
4. Submit the universal application form required by the Pediatric Radiology program.
5. Upload USMLE scores or equivalent examination scores.
6. International graduates should submit their ECFMG certificate, if applicable.
7. Submit 3 letters of recommendation, dated, signed, and on letterhead.
8. Ensure all application materials are complete before submission; UCSF does not review incomplete applications.
9. Candidates are selected for personal interviews based on the strength of their completed application.
10. Pediatric Radiology does not participate in the NRMP Match, so applicants apply directly through the UCSF fellowship application process.
11. Final appointment is subject to credentialing, California medical licensing, and employment/visa requirements.
