Fellowship in Pediatric Radiology

1. MD or DO degree completed
2. Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency
3. Valid USMLE/COMLEX exam performance
4. Eligibility for licensure in the United States
5. Submission of application materials (CV, personal statement, letters of recommendation, medical school transcript, exam scores) by the program deadline
6. Invitation to interview and successful selection by program leadership.

The Pediatric Radiology Fellowship at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware is a one-year ACGME-accredited subspecialty training program focused on cultivating advanced expertise in pediatric imaging. Fellows receive well-rounded exposure to a wide variety of pediatric pathologies and imaging modalities — including plain radiography, fluoroscopy, CT (computed tomography), MRI (magnetic resonance imaging), ultrasound (US), nuclear medicine, neuroradiology, interventional radiology, and cardiovascular imaging.

The curriculum also incorporates structured didactic lectures, departmental and interdepartmental conferences, case review sessions, research project mentorship, and progressive teaching responsibilities involving residents and medical students. There is elective time to tailor training to academic interests and optional rotation opportunities at other Nemours sites such as Orlando (Florida). Fellows develop imaging interpretation skills, procedural competencies, interdisciplinary communication, and scholarly work suitable for publication or national presentation.
