The Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship Program at the University of Minnesota Medical School is a 3-year ACGME-accredited fellowship that provides advanced training in pediatric respiratory and sleep disorders. The first year focuses on hands-on clinical training through inpatient and outpatient care, pulmonary function testing, bronchoscopy, and multidisciplinary management of conditions such as cystic fibrosis, asthma, sleep disorders, neuromuscular respiratory disease, and congenital airway disorders. The second and third years emphasize research and scholarly activity with faculty mentorship, preparing fellows for careers in clinical practice, research, education, and leadership in pediatric pulmonary and sleep medicine.
