The Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) is a three-year program providing advanced training in the diagnosis and management of kidney disorders and hypertension in children and adolescents. Fellows gain clinical experience at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and Regional One Health, covering acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, glomerular disorders, congenital and hereditary kidney conditions, hypertension, dialysis, kidney transplantation, plasmapheresis, and continuous kidney replacement therapy. The program also emphasizes research, quality improvement, multidisciplinary care, teaching, journal clubs, and academic development, preparing fellows for clinical and academic careers in Pediatric Nephrology.
