Fellowship in Pediatric Hemato Oncology

• Must have completed an ACGME-accredited Pediatrics Residency Program in the United States.
• Must possess an MD, DO, MBBS, or equivalent medical degree.
• Must meet the University of Illinois Graduate Medical Education (GME) requirements.
• International applicants must have appropriate credentials; the program accepts J-1 visa holders only.
• Must apply through ERAS and participate in the NRMP Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Fellowship Match.

The Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Fellowship is a 3-year, ACGME-accredited fellowship program that provides advanced training in the diagnosis and management of childhood cancers and blood disorders. Fellows gain comprehensive clinical experience in pediatric oncology, benign hematology, sickle cell disease, hemophilia, thrombosis, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, neuro-oncology, palliative care, and survivorship care. The program combines extensive inpatient and outpatient clinical training with protected research time, multidisciplinary conferences, teaching opportunities, quality improvement initiatives, and scholarly activities, preparing graduates for careers in academic medicine, clinical research, and independent practice as pediatric hematology-oncology specialists.
