The Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) is a three-year advanced training program focused on the management of critically ill infants, children, and adolescents. Fellows receive comprehensive clinical training primarily at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, with exposure to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, Neurocritical Care, and intermediate care settings. Training includes advanced procedures, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), pediatric transport, airway management, vascular access, simulation, and point-of-care ultrasound. The program also provides structured education, research opportunities, multidisciplinary conferences, and preparation for academic and clinical careers in Pediatric Critical Care.
