Overview
- If the Candidate has done MD/MS/DNB in Pediatrics then the course duration will be one year.
- The fellowship course is offered on purely merit basis. 20% seats are reserved for candidates from SAARC countries. The course starts on 15th September every year.
This fellowship program enables Pediatrics subspecialists to make up-to date health services available for children in rural and semi-urban areas in different parts of the country. The program has flexibility to quickly adapt to changes in technological and clinical advances so that the trainees are exposed to the most recent technological knowhow as well as knowledge and skills. This makes the fellows future ready on completion of the said courses to serve both in India and abroad. The Department of Pediatrics has state of the art infrastructure, qualified faculty and supportive departments like Radio-diagnosis, genetics etc. As of today almost 200 (Two Hundred) Pediatricians who have successfully completed subspecialty training in our fellowship program are placed in India and internationally & are having a flourishing career.
