The Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at the University of Minnesota Medical School is a 3-year ACGME-accredited fellowship providing advanced training in the care of critically ill infants, children, and adolescents. Fellows receive extensive clinical experience in the PICU and CVICU, including management of complex medical and surgical conditions, ECMO, mechanical circulatory support, transplantation, trauma, cardiac critical care, and multisystem organ failure. The program also emphasizes research, medical education, simulation, bedside procedures, scientific writing, statistics, and academic leadership, preparing fellows for careers as clinician-educators and clinician-investigators.
