Fellowship in Neuro hospitalist

• MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree.
• Completion of an accredited Neurology residency.
• Board eligible or board certified in Neurology.
• Eligible for Illinois medical licensure.
• Submission of a completed application, CV, personal statement, and letters of recommendation.
• Successful completion of interviews and credentialing requirements.

The Neurohospitalist Fellowship at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine provides immersive training in the comprehensive care of hospitalized patients with acute and complex neurologic disorders. Fellows gain extensive experience in consultation neurology, inpatient stroke care, neurocritical care, and the coordination of multidisciplinary treatment plans. The curriculum emphasizes evidence-based practice, quality improvement, patient safety, and transitions of care. Fellows work closely with specialists in neurosurgery, critical care, rehabilitation, and internal medicine while participating in teaching and scholarly activities. Opportunities for clinical research and leadership development further enhance professional growth. Graduates are well prepared for careers in academic neurology and specialized neurohospitalist practice.
