Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology

• MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree.
• Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency.
• Board eligible or board certified in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Eligible for Illinois medical licensure.
• Submission of a completed application, CV, personal statement, and letters of recommendation.
• Successful completion of interviews and credentialing requirements.

The Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine offers comprehensive subspecialty training in the diagnosis and image-guided treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. Fellows gain extensive experience interpreting advanced imaging studies of sports injuries, tumors, arthritis, trauma, and other complex conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system. The curriculum includes hands-on training in ultrasound-guided injections, aspirations, and biopsies, as well as close collaboration with orthopedic surgeons, rheumatologists, and sports medicine specialists. Fellows participate in multidisciplinary conferences, research projects, and educational activities under the guidance of expert faculty. The program emphasizes evidence-based practice, scholarly development, and excellence in patient care. Graduates are well prepared for careers in academic radiology and specialized musculoskeletal imaging practice.
