The Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship at NYU Grossman School of Medicine is a highly regarded advanced subspecialty training program offered through the Department of Radiology's Division of Musculoskeletal Imaging. The fellowship is designed for radiologists seeking expertise in the interpretation of musculoskeletal imaging studies and image-guided interventions. Fellows receive intensive exposure to high-volume clinical practices at NYU Langone's Tisch Hospital, NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital, NYU Langone Orthopedic Center, and NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue. Training encompasses radiography, MRI, CT, ultrasound, bone densitometry, CT and MR arthrography, and advanced interventional musculoskeletal procedures. Fellows gain hands-on experience performing ultrasound-guided, fluoroscopy-guided, and CT-guided injections, biopsies, aspirations, and tumor ablations. The curriculum includes dedicated academic time for research, multidisciplinary conferences, journal clubs, sarcoma conferences, and musculoskeletal ultrasound workshops. Fellows work closely with expert musculoskeletal radiologists and orthopedic specialists while developing progressive clinical independence throughout the year. Graduates of the program are well prepared for careers in academic radiology, sports medicine imaging, orthopedic imaging centers, and advanced musculoskeletal diagnostic and interventional practice
