Fellowship in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology/Procedural Dermatology

• Applicants must have completed an ACGME-accredited Dermatology Residency Program

The Fellowship in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology/Procedural Dermatology at UC Irvine School of Medicine, Irvine is a one-year ACGME-approved fellowship program designed to provide advanced training in Mohs micrographic surgery, dermatologic oncology, and procedural dermatology. The program focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of complex skin cancers, advanced dermatologic surgical techniques, tissue reconstruction, and comprehensive management of cutaneous malignancies. Fellows gain extensive hands-on experience in Mohs surgery, surgical closures, skin flaps, grafts, laser procedures, cosmetic dermatology, and other advanced dermatologic interventions. The fellowship also emphasizes clinical excellence, multidisciplinary patient care, research, and academic development, preparing fellows for specialized careers in dermatologic surgery and Mohs micrographic surgery.
