Fellowship in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology

1. Applicants must have completed the required Dermatology residency training for advanced procedural dermatology fellowship.
2. The fellowship is intended for physicians pursuing advanced training in Mohs micrographic surgery, dermatologic oncology, and reconstructive surgery.
3. Applicants must meet the University of Minnesota GME requirements for fellowship appointment.
4. The program is ACGME-accredited.

The Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship at the University of Minnesota Medical School is a one-year ACGME-accredited fellowship offering advanced training in Mohs micrographic surgery, dermatologic oncology, post–skin cancer reconstruction, laser surgery, and cosmetic dermatology. Fellows train in a high-volume tertiary referral Mohs unit and gain extensive hands-on experience with complex reconstructions, including local and interpolation flaps. The program also includes weekly textbook reviews, multidisciplinary conferences, monthly journal clubs, cosmetic dermatology rotations, and research opportunities, with progressive responsibility in surgical procedure
