About Course

The Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship at UMass Chan Medical School is a one-year ACGME-accredited clinical fellowship focused on comprehensive, interdisciplinary care for patients with serious and life-limiting illnesses. Fellows receive training through inpatient palliative care, ambulatory palliative care, hospice, pediatric palliative care, long-term care, and home-based care. The curriculum also emphasizes symptom management, serious-illness communication, end-of-life care, ethics, quality improvement, research, teaching, and leadership development.

Admission Process
