Fellowship in Gastrointestinal and Liver Pathology

1. Must have graduated from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy
2. Must be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Colorado
3. Must be board-eligible or board-certified in Anatomic Pathology (AP) or Anatomic & Clinical Pathology (AP/CP) by the start of the fellowship term

The Fellowship in Gastrointestinal and Liver Pathology is a one-year advanced fellowship providing comprehensive training in gastrointestinal, hepatic and pancreaticobiliary pathology. Fellows receive hands-on experience in diagnosing a broad range of adult digestive diseases, including complex pancreaticobiliary, liver and liver-transplant cases, under close faculty supervision. Training includes participation in multidisciplinary conferences covering pancreaticobiliary, colorectal, esophagogastric, liver and neuroendocrine tumors, along with daily digestive disease case conferences. Fellows also have opportunities for research, teaching medical students and residents, and presenting scholarly work at national meetings.
