The Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship at UMass Chan Medical School is designed to train fellows for independent practice as consultants in gastroenterology and hepatology. The program provides comprehensive clinical training in gastrointestinal and liver disorders, including diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, hepatology, inpatient and outpatient care, and management of a broad range of GI conditions. Fellows also participate in didactic lectures, research projects, teaching activities, and clinical services across high-volume academic and community-based hospital settings.
