Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism

The Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Fellowship at the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine is a 2-year ACGME-accredited fellowship, with an optional 3-year research-intensive track. The program provides broad clinical training across endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism, with exposure to a wide range of endocrine disorders through training at University of Colorado Hospital, Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center, and Denver Health Medical Center. Fellows receive experience in inpatient endocrine consultations and specialized outpatient clinics covering diabetes, thyroid and pituitary disorders, adrenal disease, metabolic bone disease, lipid disorders, reproductive endocrinology, obesity, and endocrine disorders in pregnancy. The program also offers extensive research opportunities in basic, translational, clinical, and population research. Fellows may follow a 2-year clinical-educator pathway or a 3-year research-intensive pathway, allowing training to be tailored to individual career goals.
