The UCSF Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism Fellowship is an advanced ACGME-accredited subspecialty training program that provides comprehensive education and clinical experience in the diagnosis and management of endocrine, metabolic, and diabetes-related disorders. The program offers extensive training in areas including diabetes care, thyroid disorders, pituitary and adrenal diseases, reproductive endocrinology, metabolic bone disorders, obesity, lipid disorders, and other hormonal conditions. Fellows receive training through inpatient and outpatient clinical rotations at UCSF-affiliated hospitals, along with opportunities for clinical research, translational research, and academic development to prepare for careers in clinical practice, research, and academic endocrinology.
