The Dermatopathology Fellowship at NYU Grossman School of Medicine is a prestigious ACGME-accredited advanced training program offered through the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology in collaboration with the Department of Pathology. The fellowship is designed to prepare dermatologists and pathologists for careers in academic dermatopathology and advanced diagnostic practice. The Section of Dermatopathology at NYU Langone is recognized as one of the largest and most respected academic dermatopathology programs in the United States, providing fellows with exposure to a broad spectrum of inflammatory, infectious, neoplastic, and melanocytic skin diseases. Training includes clinicopathologic correlation, oral pathology, cytology, molecular biology, immunohistochemistry, and advanced diagnostic techniques. Fellows actively collaborate with dermatologists, pathologists, oncologists, and researchers while participating in educational conferences and scholarly activities. The program also emphasizes research, publication, and academic development, enabling fellows to contribute to advancements in dermatopathology.
