Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology

• Hold an MD or DO degree (or an equivalent medical degree).
• Successfully complete an ACGME-accredited Adult Neurology or Child Neurology Residency before the fellowship start date.
• Be board-eligible through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).
• Obtain California medical licensure before the July 1 program start date.
• Apply through ERAS and participate in the NRMP Match.

The Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship at UC Irvine School of Medicine is a one-year, ACGME-accredited fellowship that provides advanced training in the diagnosis and management of neurological disorders using neurophysiological techniques. Fellows gain extensive experience in EEG, EMG, epilepsy monitoring, intracranial EEG, intraoperative neuromonitoring, functional brain mapping, and adult and pediatric clinical neurophysiology, while participating in multidisciplinary patient care, research, and academic teaching to prepare for independent subspecialty practice.
