The Anesthesiology Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine is an ACGME-approved, two-year program for Emergency Medicine graduates that provides comprehensive and immersive training in the care of critically ill patients across multiple ICU settings. Fellows receive hands-on experience in Medical, Surgical-Trauma, Cardiothoracic, Neurology/Neurosurgery, and Burn ICUs, along with dedicated training in critical care point-of-care ultrasound and echocardiography. The program also includes clinical research, electives, and focused subspecialty training, preparing fellows for multidisciplinary critical care practice.
