Fellowship in Anesthesiology Critical Care Medicine

• MD or DO degree (or equivalent international medical qualification)
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program (typically in Anesthesiology or related specialty)
• Must be board-certified or board-eligible in the primary specialty
• Eligible for California medical license before joining
• Strong academic background and clinical training

The Anesthesiology Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at the UC Irvine School of Medicine is an ACGME-accredited advanced training program designed to develop physicians into skilled intensivists capable of managing complex and critically ill patients. The fellowship provides comprehensive exposure to multidisciplinary intensive care, including medical, surgical, and cardiothoracic ICUs, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice and advanced clinical decision-making.
