About Course

The Sleep Medicine Fellowship at the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine is a one-year ACGME-accredited program providing comprehensive training in adult and pediatric sleep medicine. Fellows rotate through four major clinical sites and gain experience in diagnosing and managing sleep disorders such as obstructive and central sleep apnea, narcolepsy, insomnia, hypersomnia, sleep-related movement disorders, circadian rhythm disorders, and pediatric sleep disorders. Training includes interpretation of polysomnography and other sleep studies, behavioral and dental sleep medicine, sleep surgery, hypoglossal nerve stimulation, weekly academic conferences, and a year-long scholarly project.

Admission Process

Apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS)
The program participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP)
Applicants are encouraged to participate in ERAS Program Signaling to express their interest in the fellowship
Submit the required application materials, including CV, MSPE, personal statement, and three letters of recommendation
Invited candidates participate in virtual interviews
Final selection is conducted through the NRMP Match process
