The Sleep Medicine Fellowship at the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine is a one-year ACGME-accredited program providing comprehensive training in adult and pediatric sleep medicine. Fellows rotate through four major clinical sites and gain experience in diagnosing and managing sleep disorders such as obstructive and central sleep apnea, narcolepsy, insomnia, hypersomnia, sleep-related movement disorders, circadian rhythm disorders, and pediatric sleep disorders. Training includes interpretation of polysomnography and other sleep studies, behavioral and dental sleep medicine, sleep surgery, hypoglossal nerve stimulation, weekly academic conferences, and a year-long scholarly project.
