Overview
The Adolescent Medicine Fellowship at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center is a 3-year ACGME-accredited fellowship program that provides comprehensive clinical and research training to prepare physicians for careers in academic adolescent medicine, medical education, and research. The program offers extensive clinical experience in areas including sports medicine, sexual and reproductive health, HIV/STI prevention and treatment, substance use disorders, mental health, eating disorders, endocrinology, gender-affirming care, school-based health, and chronic health conditions affecting adolescents and young adults. Fellows receive structured mentorship, participate in research activities, and develop expertise in adolescent health promotion, disease prevention, advocacy, and interdisciplinary patient care

Eligibility
- Must have completed residency training in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Internal Medicine-Pediatrics
- Must be a U.S. citizen, noncitizen national, or permanent resident alien of the United States
- Must have an interest in pursuing a career as an academic adolescent medicine physician-scientist or clinician educator
- Applicants must meet the requirements for Adolescent Medicine subspecialty training after completion of their primary residency field

Admission Process:
- Apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS)
- Participate in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) Fellowship Match
- Submit the required application documents through ERAS
- Applications are reviewed by the fellowship selection committee
- Selected candidates are invited for an interview
- Final selection is completed through the NRMP Match process
