Congenital heart disease is the most common among all fetal malformations. Diagnosis of a cardiac anomaly has a significant impact on the neonatal outcome. This module of 6 lecture discussions dealt over eight hours, has been constructed to enable the participant to understand the normal and abnormal heart. Given that the heart is a dynamic structure, the entire module is presented almost exclusively through video clips. 'What is the first or the lead finding?' and 'How to reach the final diagnosis?' is the approach for every anomaly. Each defect is discussed at length in terms of grayscale and color Doppler findings in the various planes of examination. Wherever necessary, 4D images or videos have been used. The syllabus includes genetic basis and investigations necessary in a given anomaly.
