Advanced Aortic and Endovascular Surgery Fellowship

1. Completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education-accredited Cardiothoracic Surgery Residency Program.
2. Must be board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
3. Must be eligible for full Alabama State medical licensure.

The Advanced Aortic and Endovascular Surgery Fellowship provides specialized training in the surgical and endovascular management of complex aortic and cardiovascular diseases. Fellows gain hands-on experience in open aortic surgery, transcatheter procedures, endovascular interventions, aortic valve surgery, and complex thoracic aortic procedures. The program also includes multidisciplinary case conferences, morbidity and mortality discussions, and advanced clinical exposure to complex aortic cases.
