Fellowship in Vascular Surgery

1. Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or equivalent medical degree.
2. Completion of the required prior General Surgery residency training or equivalent surgical training.
3. Applicants must meet Cedars-Sinai Graduate Medical Education eligibility requirements.
4. Applicants must satisfy applicable California medical licensure and credentialing requirements.
5. International Medical Graduates must have graduated from a medical school listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools and meet the applicable Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certification or United States medical licensure requirements.
6. Applicants must meet any additional eligibility requirements established for the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)-accredited Vascular Surgery Fellowship.

The Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center provides advanced training in the comprehensive management of vascular diseases through both open surgical and endovascular techniques. Fellows gain experience in the evaluation and treatment of complex arterial and venous conditions, with progressive responsibility in the operating room and endovascular setting. The program includes inpatient and outpatient clinical care, vascular procedures, imaging-based interventions, multidisciplinary vascular conferences, and academic activities. Fellows also participate in research and scholarly activities throughout the fellowship. The training is designed to develop advanced clinical and operative skills for independent practice in vascular surgery.

1. Submit the application through the application method specified by the Cedars-Sinai Vascular Surgery Fellowship.
2. Provide the required application and supporting documents, including medical school documentation and curriculum vitae.
3. Submit required United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Steps 1, 2, and 3 scores for fellowship applicants.
4. Provide two letters of recommendation, as required under Cedars-Sinai's fellowship applicant policy.
5. International Medical Graduates must provide applicable ECFMG documentation and meet California licensing requirements.
6. Eligible applications are reviewed by the fellowship program, and selected candidates are invited for an interview.
7. Final appointment is subject to successful completion of Cedars-Sinai Graduate Medical Education credentialing, licensing, background check, and other institutional requirements.
