The Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital and Research Centre is a joint venture of Sri Shankara Cancer Foundation and Sri Sringeri Sharada Peetham Charitable Trust of Sringeri. It is located at Basavanagudi area in Bengaluru. The land for the project was given with blessings by the Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Bharathi Theertha Mahaswamiji, the Shankaracharya of Sringeri. Sri Shankara Cancer Foundation is a not-for-profit organization whose core focus is on cure and prevention of cancer. The foundation is committed to conceive, build, and sustain programs and initiatives aimed at helping the common man.
