About Course

The Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine is a one-year, ACGME-accredited fellowship focused on advanced training in sports medicine and shoulder surgery. Fellows gain clinical and surgical experience in sports-related conditions, joint preservation and cartilage restoration, hip arthroscopy, complex shoulder arthroscopy and reconstruction, pediatric sports medicine, and complex knee ligament reconstruction. The program also provides dedicated research opportunities, team physician experience with collegiate and professional teams, and an academic curriculum including weekly lectures, journal clubs, cadaver anatomy sessions, and bioskills laboratory training.
