Sharda University, School of Medical Sciences & Research (SMSR), Noida

The School of Medical Sciences and Research (SMSR) was established in the year 2009 under Sharda University, Which envisions an ambience of excellence, inspiring value-based education, research and development. SMSR is approved for an intake of 150 students in MBBS course by Medical Council of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India. The school provides comprehensive facilities for teaching, research and patient care.

Facilities:

Library: The varsity has one central library and 8 council libraries. All the libraries are well stocked with books, journals, reports, magazines etc. for reference for students and faculty members. The libraries have digital resources for students and have wifi connectivity as well.

Sports: Facilities for sports like cricket, football, badminton, basketball, volleyball, table tennis etc. are provided by the university to students. Annual sports day is conducted at the campus to promote and encourage students to participate in sports.

Cafeteria: The university has 10 cafeterias and other eatery junctions located in different locations at the campus. Special attention is given to hygiene and nutritional value of food at cafeterias.

Auditorium: Sharda University has multiple auditoriums and seminar rooms. Both auditoriums and seminar rooms are equipped with the latest audiovisual equipment

Transportation Facility: The varsity provides transportation facilities to students, staff and faculty members within a radius of 90 km. The university buses commute to and fro from various areas of Delhi NCR to university campus.

Laboratories: Sharda University has department based laboratories. The modern labs of the varsity allow students to perform practicals of what they have learnt in classrooms. It also helps them in conducting research and experiments.

Hostel Facility: There are 4 boys hostels and 5 girls hostel. Basic facilities like wifi, ATM, medical services, mess etc. are available at hostels.
