MS Ophthalmology

MS Opthalmology is a three-year post-graduate programme dedicated to offering a strong scientific knowledge of the fundamentals of ophthalmology. The programme involves an advanced study of the anatomy, physiology and diseases of the eye. Students under this programme develop clinical skills and are prepared to make a diagnosis to treat patients effectively.

The curriculum of the programme sheds light on topics like Ocular Physiology, Orbital and Ocular Anatomy, Gross Anatomy, Histology, Ocular Pathology, Immunology and others. It is significant that during the programme aspirants acquire knowledge about research methodology including record maintaining to conduct accurate research enquiry with proper analysis and writing reports.

The purpose of the programme is to create professionals who would provide high-quality eye care to the patients and advance the cause of science through research & training.

• For National Students: As per NMC  Guidelines Must be NEET PG Qualified and allotted through UPDGME Uttar Pradesh Lucknow.
• For International Students: The eligibility criterion for all programs for international applicants is minimum 50% in the qualifying examination and having studied the pre-requisite subjects for admission in to the desired program.
