Radiation Oncology residency

The Radiation Oncology Residency Program at the University of Minnesota Medical School provides comprehensive training in the multidisciplinary management of cancer using radiation therapy. Residents receive at least 36 months of clinical radiation oncology training, along with dedicated rotations in medical physics and dosimetry, medical/pediatric oncology, research, and electives. Training includes advanced techniques such as IMRT, stereotactic radiation, brachytherapy, TomoTherapy, and image-guided radiation therapy, as well as treatment planning and radiation quality assurance. The curriculum also includes didactic lectures, treatment-planning conferences, journal clubs, tumor boards, radiobiology and physics courses, and research training, preparing residents for careers in clinical radiation oncology, academic medicine, and cancer research.

8. Submit 3 letters of recommendation.
9. Submit a personal statement.
10. Selected applicants are invited for an interview.
