Post Basic Bachelor of Science (BSc) In Nursing

• Candidates with GNM Nursing of govt. of the tamilnadu and Indian nursing council, new delhi.
• Minimum of 50% aggregate marks at the nursing qualification examination.
• Mandatory registration at the tamilnadu nurses and midwives.

The dynamic syllabus is reviewed biannually by a board of studies and ratified by the university’s Academic Council and Indian Nursing Council. Since 2005 the curriculum has followed the revised Indian Nursing Syllabus ,which has the latest inputs. This ensures that students get a balance of session and activities that include social work for all-round development. The hospital gives hands on training while regular field visits keep students on their feet.
The undergraduates program provides an understanding of the health sciences , management, education, research and sciences. They postgraduate program gives addition skills in administrative and management areas, while allowing students to specialize in medical, surgical, community health, pediatric, obstetrics and genecology, and psychiatric nursing.

Attendance Required For Admission To Examination :

Eighty percent of attendance in theory and practical separately before admission to university examination conducted by the tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.

The candidates should enclose the following original certificates along with application forms & three copies of recent Passport Size Photos.

• T.C from the Institution last studied.
• Mark Sheet of qualifying examinations. (SSLC and +2 Mark Sheet)
• Community Certificate.
• A Certificate of Physical Fitness from a recognised medical Practitioner.
• Migration Certificate for other State Students.
• Eligibility Certificate from Dr.M.G.R Medical University for other state students.
