Post Basic Bachelor of Science (BSc) In Nursing

• Passed the Higher Secondary or Senior Secondary or Intermediate or 10+2 or an equivalent examination recognized by the University for this purpose .
• Obtained a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and registered as R.N.R.M. with the State Nurses Registration Council.
• Every candidate before admission to the course shall submit to the Principal of the institution a certificate of medical Fitness from an authorized medical officer that the candidate is physically fit to undergo the academic course.

On completion of Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Degree program the graduates will be able to:

• Assess health status, identify nursing needs, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients/clients that contribute to health of individuals, families and communities.
• Demonstrate competencies in techniques of nursing based on concepts and principles from selected areas of nursing, physical, biological and behavioural sciences.
• Participate as members of health team in the promotive,preventive,curative and restorative health care delivery system of the country.
• Demonstrate in communication and interpersonal relationship.
• Demonstrate leadership qualities and decision-making abilities in various situations.
• Demonstrate skills in teaching to individuals, groups in community health settings.
• Demonstrate managerial skills in community health settings.
• Practice ethical values in their personal and professional life.
• Participate in research activities and utilize research findings in improving nursing practice.
• Recognize the need for continued learning for their personal and professional development.

Documents required at the time of Admission :

• Certificate of passing the qualifying examination.
• Mark list of 10th, 12th and qualifying examination.
• Migration Certificate in original.
• Requisite caste certificate issued by the competent authority, if admission is against reserved category.
• Gap Certificate, if applicable.
• Certificate of change of name, if applicable supported by documentary evidence like Government Gazette Notification.
