Post Basic Bachelor of Science (BSc) In Nursing

A pass in H.Sc., or its equivalent examination. Should have qualified in Diploma in Nursing and be a registered Nurse and Midwife in any recognized State Nursing Council. Candidates who have their registration in State Nursing Council other than Tamil Nadu, must also register in the Tamil Nadu Nursing Council accepted by the authority of the University.

The aim of undergraduate program is to Prepare graduates to assume responsibilities as professional, competent nurses and midwives in providing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services. Prepare nurses who can make independent decisions in nursing situations, protect the rights of and facilitate individuals and groups in pursuit of health and conduct research studies in the areas of nursing practice.
