The Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency Program at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), Memphis, provides six years of comprehensive training in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Residents gain progressive experience in reconstructive, aesthetic, craniofacial, hand, burn, microsurgery, and pediatric plastic surgery. Training includes complex trauma, wound care, breast reconstruction, and restoration of form and function across different anatomical regions. Residents rotate through multiple clinical sites in Memphis and develop surgical skills, clinical judgment, research experience, and multidisciplinary patient-care skills in preparation for independent practice or further subspecialty training.
