The five-year Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program provides comprehensive training in orthopedic surgery through clinical rotations at University of Colorado Hospital, Denver Health, Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center, and Children’s Hospital Colorado. Residents receive progressive training in orthopedic trauma, adult reconstruction, sports medicine, hand and upper extremity, foot and ankle, spine, pediatric orthopedics, and musculoskeletal oncology. The program emphasizes operative skills, clinical decision-making, research, teaching, simulation, and progressive surgical autonomy. A six-year Research Track is also available, incorporating an additional dedicated year of research training.
