The Neurotology Fellowship at the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine is a two-year clinical fellowship designed to provide advanced training in the diagnosis and surgical management of complex otologic, neurotologic, skull-base, hearing, and balance disorders. Fellows gain extensive operative experience in neurotologic and skull-base procedures, including tumor resection and complex otologic surgery. Training is multidisciplinary, with collaboration across Neurosurgery, Neurology, Neuro-Ophthalmology, Audiology, Radiation Oncology, and other related specialties. The program also emphasizes resident teaching, structured didactics, scholarly activity, and research, with one protected research day each week. Fellows are expected to complete a mentored scholarly project and receive training in research methodology and biostatistics.
