The Neurology Residency Program at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), Memphis, provides comprehensive training in adult neurology through a four-year program that includes a preliminary clinical year followed by three years of specialized neurology training. Residents gain experience in diagnosing and managing a broad range of neurological conditions through rotations in stroke, neurocritical care, epilepsy, neurophysiology, neuromuscular medicine, neuro-oncology, sleep medicine, neuro-rehabilitation, and other subspecialties. The program also provides opportunities for research, quality improvement, didactic education, electives, simulation training, and teaching, with clinical training across several affiliated hospitals in the Memphis area.
