Overview

    1. MD – Paediatrics is a comprehensive postgraduate training program aimed at developing specialists skilled in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases affecting infants, children, and adolescents. The program provides extensive exposure to outpatient and inpatient paediatric care, neonatal units, paediatric intensive care units, and emergency services.
    2. Residents receive training in neonatal care, immunization programs, nutrition, growth and development monitoring, and management of acute and chronic paediatric illnesses. The curriculum includes exposure to paediatric subspecialties such as neonatology, paediatric cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology, and endocrinology. Academic activities such as seminars, case discussions, journal clubs, audits, and research culminating in a mandatory dissertation are integral to the program. Graduates are prepared for independent clinical practice, academic careers, or further super-specialty training.

Eligibility

    1. MBBS degree from a medical college recognized by the National Medical Commission
    2. Completion of one-year compulsory rotating internship
    3. Permanent or provisional registration with NMC or State Medical Council
    4. Qualifying score in NEET-PG as prescribed for the academic year
    5. Compliance with applicable reservation policies and service bond requirements
