Overview

Zydus Medical College & Hospital, Dahod, offers 11 seats for MD – General Medicine as per its sanctioned seat list.

The program is designed to provide in-depth training in adult internal medicine. Students will rotate through different medical subspecialties (cardiology, respiratory, nephrology, gastroenterology, etc.), manage patients in wards, conduct OPD consultations, handle emergencies, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and participate in rounds and case conferences. The training emphasises a thorough understanding of pathophysiology, clinical reasoning, diagnostic skills, medical management, and evidence-based practice. Because Zydus is affiliated with an NMC-recognised university and has hospital attachments, students get hands-on exposure to real patient cases, investigations, and clinical decision-making in a teaching hospital environment. The curriculum spans three years, with progressive responsibility and exposure. Graduates are expected to become competent physicians able to handle a wide array of medical conditions, work in hospitals, outpatient clinics, and possibly pursue super-speciality training or academic roles.
