MD Dermatology Venereology Leprosy

1. MBBS qualification recognized by the National Medical Commission
2. Completion of compulsory rotating internship on or before the prescribed cutoff date
3. Valid NEET-PG qualification for the relevant admission year
4. Permanent or provisional medical registration certificate
5. Fulfilment of counselling authority and institutional admission requirements

The MD – Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy programme at Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital offers structured postgraduate training in skin, sexually transmitted infections, and leprosy management. Residents gain exposure in outpatient clinics, inpatient wards, procedural dermatology, and emergency dermatologic care. The course includes training in dermatopathology, cosmetic dermatology, and management of chronic dermatologic disorders. 1. Appear for and qualify NEET-PG conducted by the National Board of Examinations
2. Register for postgraduate medical counselling through the designated authority (CENTAC Puducherry / relevant counselling body)
3. Participate in choice filling and locking for MD – Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy
4. Seat allotment based on NEET-PG rank, category, and seat availability
5. Attend document verification with original certificates
6. Pay the prescribed fees to confirm admission
7. Report to the college and complete joining formalities
