MD Dermatology Venereology Leprosy

1. MBBS degree recognized by NMC
2. Completion of compulsory internship on or before the prescribed cutoff date
3. Valid NEET PG score in the admission year
4. Registration with NMC/State Medical Council
5. Admission through centralized counseling as per government rules
6. Fulfillment of category/reservation criteria where applicable

The MD Skin & VD (DVL) program at MIMER Pune is a comprehensive three-year postgraduate clinical training course aimed at developing competent dermatologists with strong diagnostic, therapeutic, and procedural skills. The department provides extensive exposure to outpatient and inpatient dermatology, venereology, and leprosy cases, allowing residents to manage common and complex skin disorders. The curriculum follows MUHS and NMC guidelines and includes clinical postings, bedside teaching, seminars, journal clubs, dermatopathology exposure, and research work leading to a dissertation. Residents are trained in dermatological procedures, STI management, and community-based dermatology services. The program prepares graduates for careers in clinical practice, academic teaching, research, and subspecialty training.

1. Appear for and qualify NEET PG
2. Register for PG medical counseling conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell (Maharashtra) or All India Quota
3. Attend document verification during counseling
4. Complete choice filling and locking for MD DVL
5. Seat allotment based on NEET PG rank, category, and preferences
6. Report to MIMER Pune with allotment letter and original documents
7. Pay prescribed fees and complete admission formalities
8. Join the course as per MUHS academic schedule
