MD Community Medicine

1. Must possess an MBBS degree with completion of a 1-year internship.
2. Must have permanent/provisional registration under NMC/State Medical Council.
3. Must qualify NEET-PG.
4. Eligible as per AIQ/State counselling rules.
5. Must meet physical and medical fitness requirements.

The M.D. (Community Medicine) program provides comprehensive training in epidemiology, biostatistics, health management, environmental health, and national health programs. It develops skills in conducting community-based research, outbreak investigation, health surveys, and public health education. Students engage in field postings, rural and urban health training, and administrative assignments in public health institutions. The curriculum emphasises preventive medicine, health policy, and system strengthening, preparing graduates for leadership roles in public health organisations, government health departments, research institutes, and medical colleges.

1. Register for NEET-PG under the National Board of Examinations (NBE).
2. Appear and qualify with the required cutoff.
3. Participate in MCC (AIQ) / State counselling.
4. Choose M.D. Community Medicine in choice filling.
5. Receive seat allotment based on rank and preferences.
6. Report to the allotted college for document verification.
7. Pay the admission fees to confirm the seat.
8. Join the academic program as per the institutional schedule.
