MD Community Medicine

Admission to the MD/MS course shall be open to candidates who have qualified NEET-PG of the concerned year and are eligible as per the criteria laid down for various categories in the Punjab Govt. Notification/Sri Guru Ram Das University of Health Sciences (SGRDUHS) rules.

Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Community Medicine is a three-year full-time course offered by Sri Guru Ram Das University of Health Sciences, Amritsar, and approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI).

All admissions under various categories viz. Sikh Minority/Open (General) Management/Reserved/NRI quota will be made by the Nodal Agency of the State Government only.

Selection will be made on the basis of merit of qualified candidates in NEET PG for MD/MS conducted by National Board of Examination, New Delhi. Counselling will be carried out by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot (Nodal agency of Government of Punjab for MD/MS admissions).

Candidates are advised to follow the instructions given in the prospectus issued by BFUHS, Faridkot. SGRDIMSR/SGRDUHS does NOT conduct selection/counselling for admission to the course.
