Overview

    • Zydus Medical College & Hospital, Dahod, has recently started the MD Anatomy course. A letter of permission (LoP) from the Medical Assessment & Rating Board (MARB), under the NMC, permits 2 seats per year as of the academic year 2024-2,5 for MD Anatomy. 
       
    • The department of Anatomy in the college includes teaching staff such as a Professor & HOD and others for histology, embryology, gross anatomy, etc. 
       
    • The curriculum involves detailed study of gross human anatomy, sectional anatomy (including imaging anatomy), histology, embryology etc., aimed at preparing graduates for teaching roles in medical colleges, anatomy research, and supporting clinical and surgical trainings. Imaging anatomy / radiological anatomy is also part of the teaching as few hours are devoted to radiological & imaging anatomy for training in sectional anatomy.

Eligibility

    • An MBBS degree from an institution recognised by NMC. 
    • Completion of the one-year internship. 
    • NEET-PG rank/qualification. 
    • Meet category/reservation norms as per state or national counselling. (General / OBC / SC / ST etc.)
    • Valid medical registration (State Medical Council or NMC) typically required.

Admission Process:

    1. Complete MBBS degree and internship.
    2. Appear for the NEET-PG exam in the relevant year.
    3. Register for PG counselling (State / All India quota as applicable in Gujarat).
    4. During counselling, list MD Anatomy among your preferred specialities.
    5. Seats are allotted based on NEET-PG rank, reservation category, and seat availability (2 seats in Anatomy at Zydus).
    6. After seat allotment, document verification, and payment of fees.
    7. Report to the college, undergo orientation, and begin academic schedule.
