The Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship at the University of Minnesota Medical School is a 3-year ACGME-accredited fellowship focused on the management of high-risk and complicated pregnancies. Fellows receive extensive clinical and procedural training in maternal-fetal medicine, obstetric ultrasound, genetics, labor and delivery, and intensive care. The program includes substantial protected research time, with the second year primarily dedicated to research, and fellows are required to complete and defend a research thesis. Training is conducted at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Hennepin County Medical Center, and Abbott Northwestern Hospital, preparing graduates for careers in academic medicine or community maternal-fetal medicine practice
