The Maternal–Fetal Medicine Fellowship at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is a three-year ACGME-accredited program that prepares physicians to become leaders in high-risk obstetrics and perinatal medicine. Fellows receive extensive clinical training in the management of complex maternal medical conditions, fetal anomalies, multiple gestations, and obstetric emergencies. The curriculum includes advanced obstetric ultrasonography, prenatal diagnosis, and exposure to fetal therapeutic procedures within a high-volume tertiary referral center. Protected research time enables fellows to pursue meaningful scholarly work under the mentorship of distinguished faculty. Participation in multidisciplinary conferences, resident teaching, and quality improvement initiatives further enriches the educational experience. Graduates are exceptionally well prepared for careers in academic maternal–fetal medicine and specialized clinical practice.
