Overview

    Responding to the dearth of competent public health workforce in India and elsewhere, IIPHG has been offering a two-year, full-time MPH programme since 2015. The programme is designed to help participants acquire knowledge, insights and skills through a multi-disciplinary curriculum that includes subjects related to public health management, epidemiology, biostatistics, demography, social and behavioural sciences in health, health promotion, health economics, financing, and policy.  Evolved over eight years since its commencement, the content of the programme is delivered in interactive pedagogies that include lectures and seminars, case discussions, practical exercises, lab work, field visits, group discussions, technical and creative assignments, etc

A limited number of scholarships from Emmes, P&G and other such organisations are available and it will be awarded to deserving and meritorious candidates through a rigorous selection process

Eligibility

    • The programme is open to candidates with a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university in India or abroad, with at least 50% marks. 
    • Public health is a multidisciplinary area and applicants from diverse academic backgrounds such as medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy, AYUSH, nursing, paramedical sciences, biological sciences, veterinary sciences, management, social work, engineering, law, commerce, accounting, communication, etc. are eligible to apply. Relevant work experience in the health and development sector will be an added advantage.
