Fellowshipin Global Ophthalmology

• Completion of MD/MS/DNB in Ophthalmology (or equivalent)
• Successful completion of an Ophthalmology Residency program
• Eligible for or holding a valid medical license (as per program requirements)
• Demonstrated interest in global health, public health, or underserved eye care
• Ability to meet institutional credentialing and visa requirements (if applicable)
• Preferred:
• Experience in research or international health work
• Strong academic background and letters of recommendation

The Fellowship in Global Ophthalmology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine is an advanced training program designed to prepare ophthalmologists for leadership roles in global eye health and blindness prevention.
